    • SENSUS
Accurate gas metering is easily obtainable with today's highly efficient meters. But if the pressure and temperature vary even slightly, the end result may be quite a bit off from the actual gas flowing through the meter. Countless cubic feet of gas, and associated dollars can be lost if a meter is subjected to fluctuating pressures and temperatures. A volume corrector samples the flowing conditions of the gas, electronically computes the pressure and temperature factors against the actual conditions, and gives a "corrected" read-out of gas flow totals.

SENSUS's NEXCORR® model volume corrector offers flexibility of option selections, in application, and in field upgrades, providing optimal value to the user. Nexcorr can be configured to be a simple, low-cost recording devise, or fully optioned extensive load survey memory and remote communications to interface with a higher-level control system. Nexcorr mounts to all turbine, rotary, and diaphragm meters or can be mounted remotely. It is powered with battery pack options providing up to four years of operation.

SENSUS's Auto-Corector® is used in conjunction with their Auto-Adjust turbo-meter, and computes the patented Auto-Adjust algorithms for adjusted line volume. It calculates the corrected volume throughput from the Auto-Adjust turbo-meter using measured gas pressure, measured gas temperature, and AGA NX-19 compressibility ratio. It also performs the Delta A self-checking equations to determine and correct for deviation from the factory calibration value. Further, it indicates the presence of non-steady flow or severe pulsating flow.

The Roots Volume Correction Computer (VCC®) corrects metered volume for pressure, temperature, and supercompressibility. It is a battery powered microprocessor based instrument that can be mounted on either a standard instrumant drive, wall or pipe, or integrally to any aluminum body Roots meter.

Totally user configurable: default or custom files factory loaded, by request, for out-of-the box operation.

The Roots Volume Temperature Compensator (VTC) has made electronic temperature compensation a reality for Roots meters. The VTC is a battery powered, microprocessor based instrument that corrects actual gas volume to standard temperature conditions. The instrument incorporates low power solid state electronics, a choice of lithium or alkaline batteries and an oil-free design.

Roots Micro Corrector is the smallest and lightest volume corrector on the market today. It mounts easily on the instrument drive of rotary, turbine, and diaphragm meters, and is meter bracket, wall, or pipe mountable. The Micro Corrector is modular in design, and includes only those features required by you, the user.
